Plai Essential oil Profile

Posted by Daniela Pelonara

Plai (Zingiber cassumunar) essential oil benefits

Plai is a relative of Ginger, but has a more pungent and peppery odor. Ginger has strong anti-spasmodic and analgesic properties very suitable for tired and sore muscles/joints and for the digestive system; Plai, however, is even more potent, and its muscolar pain-relieving properties are simply amazing. A major difference between Ginger and Plai is that Ginger is warming and stimulating, while Plai is cooling. In addition to its more intense analgesic effect, Plai has strong anti-inflammatory properties. It is therefore an amazing pain reliever that helps exercising without much pain and recovering faster after musco-skeletal surgeries.
