Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) essential oil benefits

Geranium is a wonderful oil for skincare (mature skin, combination skin type). Helps to balance the effects of the fluctuations of female hormones.

It is an adrenal cortex stimulant and therefore is a hormone regulator. It is invaluable for period related problems from adolescence to menopause. Geranium also stimulates the lymphatic system and has a tonic effect on the liver and kidneys. This oil is said to lift the spirits and balance emotions and when is diffused Geranium creates a pleasant, positive atmosphere. It is a great alternative to Citronella to keep insects at bay.
