Ginger essential oil is warming, and it is a great warming alternative to cooling Peppermint with stiff muscles and joints. Perfect for a muscle-tension relieving massage blend with chronic stiffness. Eases indigestion and nausea.  Ginger is a spice with a very long history. It is used in any condition where the body is not coping with moisture fluctuations (internal and external). Ginger has a stimulating, arousing, aroma that complements vital energy and strength; it has also grounding and emotionally warming. Ginger has cleansing and soothing properties, and it's the perfect support for the digestive system. Thanks to its warming properties it is also used to counteract arthritis and muscle pain.

Therapeutic properties: Analgesic, antibacterial, anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aperitive, aphrodisiac, astringent, carminative, cephalic, cholagogue, diaphoretic, digestive, diuretic, expectorant, febrifuge, laxative, rubefacient, stimulant, stomachic, tonic, vasodilator.

HOW TO USE

 

To stimulate healthy appetite and digestion burn 2-5 drops before a meal (suitable during pregnancy but in low doses). Best if blended with a citrus oil.

Dilute 4-7 drops of  Ginger oil to 5 ml of carrier oil and massage to relief still muscles and joints. Do not use on inflamed areas of immediately after a sprain or strain. 

Dilute 3-7 drops of  Ginger oil to 5 ml of carrier oil and massage or apply to pulse points (add 2 drops of spearmint for morning sickness or travel sickness).

Do not apply undiluted Ginger. Not for internal intake.
