More details

Cinnamon bark essential oil is warming and revitalizing. When diffused it is a powerful antiseptic and stimulant to the respiratory system. When applied topically (at a very low dosage) it supports the digestive system and eases spasms. Cinnamon is one of the oldest spices and aromas in the world. It is warming and comforting for the spirit and very powerful an anti-fungal and antibacterial.  It is a stimulant for the respiratory system, and it fights exhaustion; it has anti-rheumatic properties and is used to support the digestive system. It is a well-known aphrodisiac. Cinnamon essential oil can be obtained from the bark and from the leaves. The oil from the bark is more expensive and considered more valuable as it has a high percentage of aldehydes (very useful to calm the nervous system). It is largely used in the food industry. The oil from the leaves contains at least 80% phenols; it has stronger antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.
